Meeting Minutes for February 2, 2010

Hello Mommy Patriots!

Following are updates from our last meeting.

Email Communications
We have initiated an As A Mom Yahoo Group so that you can each control the number of emails you get as well as email each other while still protecting our distribution list. To sign up, please visit: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/asamomncsd/join.

When setting up your account, select "individual email" to receive emails from the group in real time. To minimize the number of emails you receive, select "daily digest." Please let us know if you have any problems registering. Eventually the Yahoo Group will serve as our primary source of email communications; so please do not delay in registering.

Next Meeting
Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 2, at 10am in Carlsbad (email danamatas@yahoo.com for address and directions).

The agenda for our next meeting is as follows:

· Pitch Your Issue - Each member will take 2-3 minutes to "pitch" the issue they find most important and show how it relates to our mission statement. After, we will take a vote on which issues we should focus our attention.

· Possible Partnerships - We will identify other local and national Tea Party groups to partner with so as to not "reinvent the wheel," allowing us to focus on those issues that are most important to us.

· iCaucus Update - Jan Stillstrop will continue to provide regular updates.

· Open Forum - members give status reports on action items and anything else they'd like to share.

Action Items
1. Nancy to work with her son on getting our logo recreated in high resolution format for printing.
2. Sherri to work on info business cards to distribute for recruiting purposes.
3. Dana and Kaare to continue developing online communication tools for group.
